Dr. I. A. Ansari (PhD, SMIEEE20) has been working as an Assistant Professor Grade I in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the ABV Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (ABVIIITM), Gwalior, India since June 2023. He received his B. Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Gautam Buddh Technical University (formally UPTU), Lucknow, India in 2010, and his M.Tech degree in Control and Instrumentation from Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar, Punjab, India in 2012. He completed his PhD from IIT Roorkee with MHRD teaching assistantship in 2017 and subsequently joined Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, South Korea as a Postdoctoral fellow. Afterward, he joined the PDPM Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur (PDPM IIITDMJ), India as Assistant Professor Grade II. His major research interests include signal and image processing, electronic design, machine learning, biomedical signal processing, computer vision, etc. He is contributing as an active technical reviewer of leading international publishers such as IEEE, IOP, Elsevier, and Springer etc. He has more than 70 publications, which include (29) SCI/ SCIE journal papers, (28) international conference papers, (06) edited books and (06) book chapters. The citation impact of his publications is around 1384 citations, with an h-index of 19, and i10 index of 31 (Google Scholar May 2024). He has guided three (3 awarded) PhD scholars and 14 M.Tech scholars so far. He has been listed as the world’s top 2% of researchers/scientists by Stanford University, USA (October, 2023).
