Dr. Vishal Vyas is an Associate Professor at ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Financial Econometrics and a Master’s degree in Management with a specialization in Finance. He has authored research papers published in reputed journals by Elsevier, Emerald, Sage, Taylor & Francis, and Inderscience, among others, and serves as a regular reviewer for these publishers. His research interests include Financial Risk Management, Investment Analysis and Equity Research, Financial Derivatives, Portfolio Management, and Project Finance. Additionally, he has supervised Ph.D. and Master’s dissertations in finance and related fields.
Dr. Vyas has led multiple funded research projects under NSTMIS-DST, ICSSR, ABV-IIITM, and Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (MoE). He has actively conducted and contributed as a resource person in Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), Management Development Programs (MDPs), workshops, and seminars at several prestigious institutions across India. These programs cover Econometrics, Business Plan Preparation, Financial Modeling, Financial Derivatives, Fundamental and Technical Analysis, Research Methodology, Multivariate Statistics and related fields. Furthermore, he has participated as a session chair and keynote speaker at reputed conferences.
He has provided consultation for successful syndication of fund raising needs of the Indian SMEs. These include an exhaustive gamut of business plan preparations and financial products advising. He has also assisted in project appraisal processes for project financing at various financial institutions and nationalized banks.
